The Jackie bag, first designed at Gucci in 1955, was renamed in the late 60s after its biggest fan - Jackie Kennedy. Gucci have relaunched this bag for AW2020, naming it the Jackie 1961, cementing its iconic status and fuelling the popularity of the original vintage design.
This vintage bag is made from cream leather with gold hardware. The bag is lined with black nylon lining and has an internal zipped pocket for valuables. The serial number is visible under the GUCCI leather tab.
The leather and hardware is in good condition with minimal signs of wear. The inside is immaculate. It seems that in places the bag has had some paint touch ups.
