The iconic Mamma Baguette from Fendi. A size up from the original Baguette. Made in the classic Fendi beige/brown Zucchino Canvas. Brown leather top handle and Fendi branded silver hardware. Inside there is an internal zipped pocket for your valuables with the Fendi metal zip puller. The serial number is printed on the inside of the inner pocket.
Zucca (and the version featuring mini FFs, Zucchino as in this case) was originally designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965 to describe Fendi’s “Fun Furs” and according to Lagerfeld, he designed the seemingly ubiquitous logo in “less than five seconds.”
This bag is in good vintage condition. The leather straps show some minor signs of wear in the form of a few creases and scratches. Some very small stains to canvas. The hardware has some scratches. Interior and lining is immaculate.
